Does an electric bike kit change the structure of my bike ?
No, it's perfectly safe for your beloved bike. Our kits are modular, so you can easily switch back to mechanical repairs if you wish.
Can I assemble my kit myself ?
No, and that's an important point.
The kit was designed to be relatively simple and quick to install. We recommend that it be installed by a professional to ensure a safe installation. This also allows for a check of the bike's condition. (brakes, tires, chain, etc...) and on the other hand, to guarantee a quality installation.
The price shown on our kits page includes standard installation fees. In some cases, particularly when the bike requires additional repairs, extra charges may apply.
Are Virvolt electric kits eligible for aid for purchasing VAEs in France ?

What is the warranty on Virvolt electric bike kits ?
We guarantee all our products for 2 years. We also guarantee that in 50 years, you'll still be able to repair your engine with simple parts. If you want to change bikes, our kits are modular and adapt to your new ride. You can even have your bike serviced by a mechanic.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered ?
We deliver to the shop you have chosen for your assembly between 5 and 7 days after your order, then it is up to you to set an assembly date with the shop of your choice.
How to order my electric bike kit ?
You can buy it directly from our website and choose your preferred shop for assembly. Or, you can visit the shop and tell them which kit you'd like to order, and they'll place the order with us directly. If you have any questions, please email us at julie@virvolt.fr.

My bike doesn't turn on
Check that all cables are properly connected, check that the battery is properly engaged and locked; if there is no improvement, contact the nearest store.
My bike turns on but I have no assistance
Hmm, maybe you need to take your feet off the pedals for the ignition; it's a bit like a scale that does the... Tare.Si The problem persists. Visit the store.
The speedometer is panicking, it tells me 99 km/h but I have no assistance
Don't panic, it's just the magnet on your wheel that's moved. Try moving it a little (ideally 5mm). If that doesn't solve the problem, come to the store.
An error code appears on the screen
Contact the store that installed your kit.
I lost my drum keys
Don't panic, we can provide you with a duplicate key. Contact us.
My engine is making noise
Feel free to record a video and send it to us; we'll put you in touch with a repair technician. It might be time for a little refresh.
My engine no longer works, and I am no longer under warranty.

What to do if you have a problem after electrifying your bike ?
Two options:
> Contact us: Together we can identify the problem and see what solutions are available to you (Virvolt support, repair by yourself, repairs via a partner, cost, time, etc...).
>> Make an appointment at the bike shop that electrified your bike. : Ideally, you should go directly with your bike; the expert will then be able to make an accurate assessment with you and present the different possibilities.
Is it possible to have the electrification kit removed from my bike ?
Yes, our kit is designed for easy installation and removal. For this, we recommend visiting your local bike shop.
If you remove the kit to put it on another bike, it will also be an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone.
